Darby Cowles Freeland
I am starting my 12th year of teaching, all of which have been at Copper Hills High School. I grew up in Roy, Utah and graduated from Roy High School in 2001. While there I played volleyball, basketball, and softball for the Royals and was a member of the National Honor Society. I graduated from Utah State University in May 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. I loved my time in Logan and will encourage anyone to go to USU. Go Aggies! I have a Master's degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Utah, graduating in May 2009. I also have my health and driver and safety education endorsements. I have coached swimming and softball and I am currently the head coach for girls tennis and girls golf. I enjoyed being the athletic director for 7 years at Copper Hills from 2012-2019. I have three sisters--two older, and one who is my identical twin. My hobbies include all sports, camping, hiking, skiing, golfing, traveling, and reading. I got married in February 2017 in Ogden and I have a little boy who is a lot of fun! I enjoy being a teacher at Copper Hills, and love teaching PE. |
